Narsobawadi Datta Temple, also called Narsobachi Wadi, is a renowned pilgrimage center for Lord Dattatreya. This sacred pilgrimage center is located in the Kolhapur district of Maharashtra. The sacred center is situated at the confluence of the Krishna River and the Panchganga River. This sacred center is closely related to Narasimha Saraswati, who is believed to be the second incarnation of Lord Dattatreya.

As per the religious tradition, Narasimha Saraswati resided at this sacred center for a period of twelve years. During this period, he preached spiritual values to the people. He helped the people to follow the right path of dharma. After the completion of his divine mission, he left his sacred Padukas under an Audumber tree. These Padukas are now worshipped at the sacred center. These Padukas symbolize the presence of Lord Dattatreya.

Unlike in other temples, there is no idol inside the main shrine. Instead, devotees worship the sacred Padukas, which symbolize eternal blessings from their Guru. Narsobawadi has over the years become one of the most important Datta pilgrimages in India, with thousands of devotees flocking to the temple annually.

Some of the major festivals that are celebrated within the temple include Datta Jayanti, Narasimha Jayanti, and Guru Purnima. Devotees flock to the temple to seek guidance, peace, and blessings from Lord Dattatreya and Guru Narasimha Saraswati.
