Saptashrungi Abhishek Puja

Saptashrungi Abhishek Puja is a ritual, for Goddess Saptashrungi Devi. She is a form of the Divine Shakti. In this puja people worship the Goddess with water and other traditional items. They believe that doing this Abhishek will bring the Goddesss blessings. These blessings help remove problems make wishes come true and bring peace, happiness and spiritual growth. The Goddess Saptashrungi is a symbol of strength, protection and divine love. Maa Saptashrungi gives her devotees energy and helps them spiritually. The Saptashrungi Abhishek Puja is done to please the Goddess Saptashrungi Devi. People do the Saptashrungi Abhishek Puja to get the blessings of Saptashrungi Devi.

The Saptashrungi Abhishek Puja starts with a promise to God and a prayer to Lord Ganesha. We do this to get blessings from God and to remove problems. Then we invite Goddess Saptashrungi Devi to be with us. We use water to perform the Abhishek ceremony. We give Goddess Saptashrungi Devi some things like kumkum and turmeric and akshat and flowers and a sacred chunari. We say some words and songs to make Goddess Saptashrungi Devi happy. The Saptashrungi Abhishek Puja ends with the Maha Aarti. After that we say some prayers for the people who are doing the puja and their families. We pray for their health and peace and happiness and for them to be close, to God. The Saptashrungi Abhishek Puja is done to get the blessings of Goddess Saptashrungi Devi.
