Maa Tara Tarini Navratri Akhand Jyoti Puja is a religious worship done during the Navratri days in order to receive blessings from Maa Tara Tarini. Lighting of Akhand Jyoti signifies perpetual devotion, spirituality, positivity, and belief in the divine mother. In the puja, the sacred lamp is lit perpetually with Ghee for the duration of the prescribed days. People pray to Maa Tara Tarini for happiness, prosperity, protection, and blessings of the goddess to fulfill their wishes. As per the tradition, 5kg Ghee and 2 Sarees are offered to the goddess. The puja is conducted traditionally with sincere Sankalp.
Puja starts with Shuddhikaran and Sankalp with the help of the devotee’s name and Gotra. The recitation of the mantra along with prayer is done in respect of Maa Tara Tarini. 5 kg Ghee is used to keep the Akhand Jyoti lit, and 2 sarees are offered to the Goddess as Vastra.
