Maa Tara Tarini Durga Shatanamam Patha Puja

Maa Tara Tarini Durga Shatanamam Patha Puja is a particular devotion based puja which involves offering devotion to Maa Tara Tarini who is an incarnation of Divine Shakti. The puja involves chanting of Durga Shatanamam mantra with 1008 Bel Patra Archana in a proper way using Vedic rituals. The devotees take the blessings of Maa Tara Tarini for peace, prosperity, family welfare, spiritual strength, and fulfillment of the wishes and prayers which they have sincerely offered. In the Maa Tara Tarini Puja, the Goddess is offered various traditional items like Haldi, Chuaa, Kasturi, Gorochana, Kumkum, Sikaya, Sindoor, Agarbatti, Honey, Milk, Curd, Jaiphal, Attar, Agur, Bangles, Kajal, Flowers, Flower Garlands, Dab, Coconut, Banana, and Deep. Chunari along with two sarees is also offered to Maa during the puja.

Maa Tara Tarini Durga Shatanamam Patha Puja Vidhi starts with the process of purifying oneself and performing Sankalp, where the devotee uses his name and Gotra to define the goal of his puja. The priest invokes the Goddess and starts the worship according to the traditional puja samagri.The offerings made to the Goddess are Haldi, Kumkum, Sindoor, Kasturi, Gorochana, Honey, Milk, Curd, Flowers, Flower Garlands, Fruits, Coconut, and other sacred items. Chunari and two Sarees are offered to Maa. During the rituals, the lamps and incense sticks are lit.The major ritual is Durga Shatanamam Mantra Path, followed by 1008 Bel Patra Archana, where Bel Patra are offered to Maa.
