Deoghar Jal Abhishek Puja is a holy Vedic ritual performed at Baba Baidyanath Dham, which is one of the twelve Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva. In this holy puja, pure Ganga jal is poured on the Shivling with devotion and the recitation of Shiva mantras to attain the blessings of Lord Shiva. This holy ritual is considered to be auspicious in order to attain peace of mind, sound health, purification of the soul, and the removal of negative energies. The Jal Abhishek Puja is performed by devotees to attain their genuine wishes and the blessings of Lord Shiva.

The puja starts with Sankalp, which is done in the name of the devotee and their lineage. After calling Lord Ganesha, the priest performs Jal Abhishek by pouring Ganga water on the Shivling while reciting Vedic Shiva mantras. Bilva leaves and flowers are then offered to the deity with devotion. The puja ends with Shiva Aarti, and devotees take blessings for peace, protection, and happiness.
