Narsobawadi Datta Rudrabhishek Puja

The Rudrabhishek Puja is an extremely powerful Vedic ritual that is conducted with the aim of seeking divine blessings, spiritual protection, and inner peace of mind. This sacred puja is related to the worship of Lord Shiva, which is conducted at the sacred place of Lord Dattatreya, wherein the Padukas of Narasimha Saraswati are worshipped. The vidhi of the Rudrabhishek Puja starts with the sankalp taken by the devotee in the presence of a priest. The puja starts with the chanting of the Rudra mantras and Vedic hymns to seek the blessings of Lord Shiva. During the abhishek, the sacred Padukas and Shiva symbol are bathed with holy ingredients such as water, milk, honey, curd, ghee, sugar, and sacred river water. The priest offers bilva leaves, flowers, sandalwood paste, and incense while continuously reciting the Rudram and Chamakam mantras. The puja ends with aarti and the distribution of prasad. The devotees then seek the blessings of the Lord for health, wealth, removal of doshas, and spiritual growth.
