Salasar Balaji Temple, situated in the Churu district of Rajasthan, is one of the most popular and powerful temples of Lord Hanuman. This holy shrine of Salasar Balaji is revered and visited by millions of devotees from all over the country to receive protection, strength, and to have their wishes fulfilled. Unlike other Hanuman temples, the idol of the deity is unique, with a round face and a moustache and beard, which signify the authority of the divine and guardian powers.
It is believed that the idol of the deity, Lord Hanuman, was found miraculously in the village of Asota and was brought to Salasar in the 18th century by a saint, Mohandas Ji, who was a fervent devotee of the deity. It is also believed that the divine powers directed the placement of the idol of the deity at the current site, which has made the place a popular destination of pilgrimage. Since then, the place has gained popularity for the miracles that have been reported to have been fulfilled here, especially related to health, success, and family.
