Mallikarjuna Swamy Temple, situated in the Nallamala Hills in the state of Andhra Pradesh, is one of the most sacred pilgrimage centers in India and is believed to be one of the 12 Jyotirlingas of Lord Shiva and one of the 18 Shakti Peethas. It is a temple dedicated to Lord Mallikarjuna, a manifestation of Lord Shiva, and his consort, Goddess Bhramaramba, a manifestation of Goddess Parvati.
