Rudrabhishek Puja & Havan Puja

Rudrabhishek Puja is believed to be one of the most pious and potent rituals that are performed in reverence of Lord Shiva. This religious ritual is performed to achieve peace, prosperity, good health, spiritual development, and safeguarding against negative energies. The devotees of Lord Shiva perform the Rudrabhishek Puja to overcome life obstacles, minimize planetary doshas, and seek the blessings of Mahadev for success, bliss, and happiness.

This ritual is performed in the traditional Vedic way by qualified temple priests who recite potent mantras to invoke the divine presence of Lord Shiva. The holy waves produced during the ritual cleanse the surroundings, pacify the mind, and induce spiritual development in the devotee.

The Rudrabhishek Puja begins with the holy Sankalp, where the temple priest takes the devotee’s name and prayer intentions and invokes Lord Shiva through Vedic mantras and prayers. The Shiva Lingam is then ritually bathed with holy offerings such as milk, curd, honey, ghee, sugar, and holy water, symbolizing purification and devotion, while continuous chanting of powerful Rudra mantras creates divine spiritual vibrations. After the Abhishekam, flowers, bilva leaves, incense, and other holy offerings are offered to Lord Shiva with devotion. After the Rudrabhishek ritual, a holy Havan Puja is conducted, where ghee, herbs, and havan samagri are offered to the holy fire while chanting Vedic mantras dedicated to Lord Shiva. The havan purifies negative energies, removes obstacles, and enhances the spiritual efficacy of the puja. The puja ends with a divine Aarti, priestly blessings, and distribution of holy prasad, spreading peace, positivity, and divine blessings to the devotee.
