The term “Asthi” refers to the ashes and bone fragments remaining after cremation, while “Visarjan” means immersion or scattering. Asthi Visarjan is a sacred Hindu ritual in which the ashes (asthi) and remaining bones of the deceased are immersed in a holy river This ritual is believed to help the departed soul attain moksha (liberation) and peace. This puja is believed to spiritually purify the holy place at Assi Ghat and wash away sins. During Asthi Visarjan Puja family members conduct prayer for the good journey to their afterlife, chant Mantras and take blessings from the soul.

The Asthi Visarjan Vidhi is a sacred Hindu ritual performed for the peaceful liberation of the soul of the deceased. Our experienced Pujari (Pandit Ji) performs the ritual with full devotion, following all the prescribed Vedic procedures.The ceremony begins with taking a Sankalp (spiritual resolution) in the name of the departed soul.
